Directions for a self-drive
The road from Nairobi to Narok town takes about 3 hours, depending on traffic. The roads are good to drive on.
From Narok it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to our place, Sekenani side.
We are located between the town of Nkolaile and Sekenani. Just 7 minutes from the Masai Mara National Park. There are no extra concession fees to be paid. The park fee is only paid once going on a safari.
Once you have found the sign of AA lodge then you know you are near. After the bridge you will find the sign of Semadep and a smaller sign with our name on it. Follow this dirt road all the way up
Note that only the last 10 minutes to us are dirt road. The rest of the drive is all tarmac road
Use google maps to get to us by filling in our name: Oseki Maasai Mara Camp. You may also ask around once you are near or give us a call or whats'app us.

Local Transport
Option 1 The cheapest way is to travel by local transport. The matatu is a typical East African Way of travelling and low budget. A one way ticket from Nairobi to the Masai Mara (Sekenani town) is usually +/- 15 dollars per person shared.
The driver might ask an extra fare for your bags, depending on the amount and size of the bags.We are happy to arrange this for you. Make sure to be ready at Syakomau station in Nairobi. Then take the matatu (a shared mini bus) towards Narok town. From Narok town, change into the second one towards the Masai Mara (Sekenani Town).
The matatu only leaves once the bus is full. A traveltip could be to buy an extra seat for not only more legspace, but also to travel sooner!
Option 2 is to go via Easycoach bus. This bus is much larger and more comfortable. It drives from Nairobi to Narok and will drop her guests at Sahara coffee house in Narok. From here we can arrange either a shared or private matatu (taxi) for you.
